Hi Jim
if you want to cover yourself fully in a legal situation you need a reciept set up as follows

indemnity pre inspection : you should make a note of anything suspect i.e stains, tears ect, ( point this out to the customer )  this requires your signature and customers

after sales advice/ client satisfaction : as an example cushions are not to be placed on suite untill completely dry, then underneath this, as an example : i have inspected work carried out and am totaly satisfied, this requires your signature and customers

above i thought would  look a bit daunting to a lot of customers, not sure wether or not potrays right image for friendly local carpet cleaner so have decided to carry on taking pics of anything suss, but still point out to customer,
( for the time been ), would be interesting to find out what system others use

have a first class example of above in pdf format but not sure how to post

                               hope this helps

hi there,

when you do a quotation, you may also want to consider a simple disclaimer line,

some thing along the lines, - that you cannot guarantee to remove all marks on..........'

Write down any limitations on survey and get a signature, give a copy with quotation to customer. After cleaning check that the customer is satisfied etc.

Writing down limitations helps in the event of any query after cleaning.

We've been asked on numerous occasions to provide an area for people to share documents.

Please feel feel to use this area to upload relevent images and pdf documents that others may use.

If you wish to upload any other type of document (a Microsoft Word document for example) please email it to admin@cleanitup.co.uk where it will be converted to pdf for others to use.

Hope this helps.

We use a site satisfaction sheet when doing work that has to be invoiced, we also state on the invoice that any queries must be recieved within 3 days of invoice date.

If you need a site satisfaction certificate template for your firm then if you pm me your details tel no address and company name and if you have a logo to put onto it i can make you one up and email it to you so you can print it off

David suggestion is the most logical and safe route to take and which I endorse.

The other way is to call out one or all of the franchise outfits for a quote; they leave you with the quotation form, which should have all the details. I don’t like this method 8)
