Title: what should i do about the flooring??

i'm starting to buy a diy wfp and 1st things 1st need to prep my van. now as ive seen you guys normaly stip it down to bear nothing ness, paint it with protectokote and then fit it in bu i'm not sure how to do mine.

ive got a rack in the back i want to keep and its fitted on top of some strange board looks like fiber glass. what do i do about this? here are a few pics to ponder over.

Take it all back to the bare metal and protecta-kote it or speedline it.

but as you can see in the 3rd pic the rack is bolted to the board not the floor directly. i dont want to lose the rack.

Take it out, protektakote the floor, and then put the ply back on top of the paint.

You won't get the nice look of the protektakote, but you will stop the floor rusting that way.

hmmm god idea y didnt i think of that? i did think about cutting around the botoms of the rack where they fit to the board/van floor.

another thing is, y is there a big circle cap covering what could bea hole in the middle of the van floor??

Silicone or caulk around the edges of the board possibly using wedge shaped woods to smooth the angles off then protectacote the lot.
