What tags, if thats the right thing, have most of you guys got on your sites to attract hits in search engines?

Try this, it will give you a guide on how your site is set up and what you can do to improve it.

Try this one then?
h ttps://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal  (close the https)

On the left check mark website content, then on the right add your website address, then click get keywords, this will check your site and then generate keywords for you to add to your site.

in the age of the "google spider" do tags do that much these days
