it says that it has twin beater bars. Does that mean it works like a host machine or is it blurb?

I think Hoover introduced " beater bars " about 30 years ago. You are mostly too young to remember the advert " It beats as it sweeps as it cleans "

I Still can't find that site. As far as I know Vax only supply vacuum cleaners and carpet shampoo machines, No it is not like a Host which uses 2 contra rotating brushes to agitate the Host sponges and a vacuum unit to extract them.l I use the Host Liberator.
