Getting fed up with this now... >:(......... why isnt it working right... >:(

Ive changed my pre-filters my ro membrane my resin and i flushed it for 4 hours and let it run for 1 hour without the resin and the tds is coming out at 42... >:(
Anyone know what my problem is?

have you put silicone spray on the seal of the pre filters?
sometimes they crease up if they are dry.
if you haven't, do it. cos if the high tds is down to chlorine passing through, it will ruin the membrane.

How much pure water is coming out compaired to waste?
you mite have closed the tap to much i run mine at 60% waste 40% pure at the moment.
If not that what PSI is your tap water? when i first set my system up it was coming out at around 30 TDS after RO and was told to fit a booster pump and that brought it right down :). Its gone up again now a little but nothing can be done about that it all depends on weather etc (so i was told by the supplier) it was very hot when mine came right down now the weather is gone crapy again its risen slighty.

Depending on the make of membrane, you will need to flush it for between 24-48 hours (if you got it from RO-Man you will definitely need a flush of 48 hours).

24 hours should be more than enough. Gaps are very helpful and if there's a problem in the morning, speak to June.
