Hi guys

Before I start, just want to say how enjoyable this forum has become and I notice there are lots of you who are very helpful in terms of information about varies subjects, keep up the good work.

Any way, I am thinking of joining FSB (Federation of small businesses) and wondering how many of you member of this organisation and what you think of it ?

Many thanks for reply.

Worth it for the free banking and tax investigation indemnity alone, IMO.

Cheers

Hi Bosh,

I've been a member for about 7 years and although its not something you use often when you do need them i've found them a lifesaver, well worth the Money!

A few years ago, when i had two businesses running i hit some legal problems and desperatley needed some advice and direction, phoned fsb and true to their word i was straight through to one of there advisers ( an ex tax inspector ) and subsequently one of there solicitors acted in my behalf and it was a massive weight of my shoulders, think i was paying about £70 a year then.

also when i had my shop they got me a merchant account set up for credit cards etc straight off no questions asked, and theres many other benefits included also,  but i think for the legal advice alone is worth it, you never know when you will need it, and if paying could run in to a lot of money.

regards
steve

FSB - Best insurance policy for businesses on the market.
If you use all the benefits etc you would easily get back more than the subscription costs.

Only reason I joined was because the lady said that we can get entry, hospitality etc to the Grand Prix. Turned out it was for some much lower formulae :-[ Still, serves me right for thinking that a woman knows the difference between different types of race catagories - should have known right ::)

Seriously though, I have heard good things from them and its good to have a back up if needed ;D

Fsb give you free support in the event of an IR investigation. I was previously insured for this independently at a cost of about £100 a year.

Very good reason to join.
