hi we have a truck mount based carpet & upholstery business for sale ,
the machine is a prochem performer dual opperater very powerfull system fully fitted to a vauxhall movano (m/w base) van with 29000 miles and still under warranty 55 plate. Fitted with pump out system, 60 gallon fresh water tank, waste tank, hose reel, 250 ft of vaccum and solution hose machine has a marrine fual tank on back end, also has fitted rack for chemicals.
Van is also fully sign writen !
All ready to work in the south west area with a 400 strong customer base,
or we are prepared to split and sell separately.

the vans worth £6-7k,
how old is the machine ( how many hours)? the performer is no longer made so it could be worth up to £5k-£8k
unless you live within 15miles of Kevin the customers are worth nothing
so I would start negotiating at around £12k

LOL, more chance of getting some good investment with a HWE machine than there there is of getting £30k for the above! :P

How many hours has the machine done?
Also its a pretty new van, why the sale? is business not profitable, just wondering weather the business has value or are we just talking kit?

Just had a thought, im sure Hydramaster was doing a truckmount plus van for 21k, it was a long wheel base transit and a boxer 421, so very good van and TM brand new! you must be placing alot of value on the 400 database!

I don't think you'd get that deal from HM anymore but you could get a Boxxer 318 on a simular deal, as for the 400 database the statistics I once got when we bought another business is that you will lose 10% of customers just because of change of ownership.
For £30k you could buy new (£25k) and with say £5k you could do what that cc in Beverley does and leaflet big areaa drops constantly for 6 months and get far more than 400 customers IMO.

What questions would somebody interested need to pin down?
After all a list of names on a database mean nothing. Commercial contracts, maintenance plans and TFNs are a different ball game to a wad full of £50 invoices.
