Post by: U.S. wfp USER on June 22, 2008, 09:01:50 pm
We have finished out Trolley/Van Mount-able Hot water system and we are looking for a pole hose that will be able to withstand the hot temps.

Anyone found one yet?

The Algarde aquarium hose being silicon type should cope with hot water. I tried soaking it in hot water to fit over connectors, it made no difference.

We have a shipment of the thermobore on its way as we speak.

I am now looking for something for the actual pole.

I've tried some of the different types of PVC double layer re-inforced hoses which are commonly used for pole hose, but found that the 2 layers separate and the hose is useless after a few weeks of hot water. My minibore standard hose holds up to the heat fine though, so I was considering trying microbore for pole hose?
