Had a call today from a potential customer who cleaned his brick drive and then re-sanded with a concrete/sand mix ::). It's obviously made a completes mess and the edge of the bricks have a concrete staining, more of a water/concrete stain as opposed to snots.
So bearing in mind I'm not able to see the drive in person until tomorrow and taking it as described i'm wondering is a wire brush and a blast of the hose enough or will it be an acid job.
If thats the case might give it a miss, I've had mixed results with such staining in the past but just throwing it out to the forum incase anyone has any ideas , quick fixes, tricks for easy removal.
Ta in advance......

You might get away with using pressure alone but its unlikely, I suspect some dilute brick acid or specific brick cleaning product will be the way forwards but a test patch and sign off incase of etching/damage to the surface would be needed, charge accordingly,
Alternatively unless you need the job, swerve it!

I did a big block drive today after the house had been rendered, couldn`t get it all out, nightmare,i told customer before hand it wouldn`t all come out so he was happy with 95% of it out, just used turbo nozzle as test area scrubbed with acid was no better. The blirt said i`d blocked his drains when i went back to get paid, took a bucket of of cement out of drain and asked him did he not think the bloke who rendered might be to blame as i cleaned away from the house and showed him the bag of mud i still had in van from his joints,he swallowed his pie and gave me a tenner tip,b*stard, dyno rod would of charged him £200,ha ha.His drive looks like it was laid in reclaimed brick but what an improvement,as long as you let them know up front what to expect you`ll get paid.
