Have you ever considered adding a" personal message" section to the forum as there is on aquatec's, that way members can send and receive messages privately, not everyone is happy to give out their e-mail details
-
I found with this on that site some of us used to end up talking like this and stopped using the forum.
-
It used to be but a few people spoilt it in sending threatening messages so it was deleted.
-
It can be policed just like a forum, if anyone recieved threats from another member? you can send a pm to the mods or admin using the quote button, this will give the members name who sent the threat, then mods/admin can simply ban them.
-
I think that this is a good idea, you could do this on cleaningpr0s, and it worked well!

The training academy has one and it works well, I get at least 6-10 PM's per night, so it would be nice if we had it back on here but policed.
-
You can PM people on every forum except this one.
It's something else that might put people off, just like the problem with posting web links and pictures :-\

The scsf forum is the same Jeff. There's no problems if it's managed properly

I can see the problem Mike has and that is? He has enough to do with running a business and a forum without having to read PM's from everyone and then having to act as judge and jury.
What could happen is that, any bad PM's could and only should be reported to Mods in the first instance, the mods can then decide if its worthy of Mikes attention, Saying the Mods have enough to do, then appoint a new mod to be able to report bad PM's to?
