Hi, I'm having doubts about my RO.
235 In, 20 Out, 100PSI after pre filters.
Shouldn't the TDS out be a lot lower?
Haven't measured production/waste rate in a while, can't remember what it is.

Its not performing bad at all, do you carry out flushing out regular? how old is it or have you changed the pre filters?

Have you got a DI filter? Mines about 240 going in 20 going out and then after the DI its 0.00

Having trouble setting up a link to my post :2 month old RO - ppm 30 plus
Have a look.

Yea I'm flushing it regularly, have only done about 4000l, so prefilters shouldn't need to be changed yet I think.

Is it 20 as soon as you turn the valve to production?
My 300gpd from ro-man has water going in at 480ish and comes out around 25. But i disconnect the hose to the DI vessel and let it run for 5 minutes. After this it has come down to 7ppm.

Hmm, there's a thought, I measure it straight from the tank. (From the tank it goes to the DI) The water in the tank is at 20.

Itl be 0.00 from the DI then mate. Panic over 8)

True, but the lower the better, resin will last longer then won't it.
Was just wondering if those figures are okay, it did spend a couple of very frosty nights in the workshop unprotected. Not sure if it got under zero in there, but might have messed things up, wasn't filled with water though.

How old is your RO? Mine is 2-3 months old and I had a similar problem.
Ive got a 200GPD and my TDS out the RO is now 11ppm. My tap water is 288-310ppm
Prior to replacing my membranes it was 30ppm post RO.
The membranes on it where cheap ones with 'technology derived in USA' written on them.
Mine is a Purefreedom RO.
As you can see 20ppm isnt special when your water is 235 to start.
I'm not over pleased with mine still because with my old system (100GPD!) my tds out was 6ppm!

I'll have a look tomorrow what it says on there, but it's older then that.
