I am fed up of the doom and gloom merchants on the news channels :-\ What do you think we can do to spread a little cheer to our customers ? I have thought about adding " valued customer " to all my SAE . Come on spread your wings ;D

ive been putting up their prices to cheer them up

I find brief chit chat about their holidays, pets, family or business works well. I keep it breif because time is money, but make sure I chat a little so it keeps them happy.

i try to remember at least one thing about them, so when i go next i can ask, "hows your dad" or whatever, they seem to like that

I am thinking of giving my custies a little gift in january , like a daily calender ( the one with a day of the week date on it with a wise saying underneath ) and a pen , obviously emblazened with my logo ;D
