report it to the rspca straight away, you can probably do it anonomously. People who treat animals like that have no right to have them.

I wouldn't worry about the customer he should look after his animals or not have them.

Myself being an animal lover i would not have been able to keep my cool over that i would have had a go at the owner and rung the RSPCA.

Do the right thing for the poor animal i bet he is suffering ring the RSPCA.

I hate people who are cruel to animals and i hope he gets taken to court and the book thrown at them.

Please, please, please report it  and let us know the outcome, I for one will feel better when I know these dogs are safe and for the owner - he needs putting down!

Please make sure that you report the scumbag. If he does give you hassle then post his details on here. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we will back you up. I am sure he will leave you alone when a mob of angry window cleaners turn up at his door.

I have gone from being so scared of dogs to owning two (looking after one) and currently training to be a dog trainer. No dog should be treated lke that.
This week alone I have been given a 6 month old hyper active border collie as I cant turn away a dog who has been treated bad.
So if anyone wants a free dog let me know.
He is called bandit and he is 6 months old. Treated very bad by previous owner and never trained or walked but he is showing signs of improvement.
Anyone interested?

You know the right thing to do, report it.

I've been in this situation myself.  We had been looking for a dog, and this 3 year old german shepard was just what we were after.  Shut outside in a kennel 24/7, and clearly unwanted.  I offered the guy 200 quid for her, and he took it in a flash.  She is still with us now, 9 years old.  Best decision I ever made.

Just report it.

I don't like dogs, but providing they weren't a dangerous breed they didn't deserve it.

No dog deserves it not even a dog from a fighting breed
You should ban the deed not the breed

Yes very nice.
You asked for advice from people who live in a country of animal lovers and then you come out with that. Just how many variations of answers were you expecting exactly? I can only think of one.

I also have a dog, have always had dogs, and i love my little girl to bits! If i had been in that very situation i would of reported it straight away, no questions!! But i suppose we are all different, that what makes life interesting!! I cant understand why you are asking the question, as you should of known what the answer would of been!!!!

And don't forget to kick the bloke in the nuts too, scum like that should be banned for life from keeping any animals, I expect he does the same to his kids.

I make a monthly donation to the WWF and love all animals, they have as much right to be treated right as we have.

i went back to the house in question this morning at about 7 am, i hid behind the wall and looked through the slats in the fence, i couldnt see anything so i made that noise you make to summons a dog and what the hell there was 4 dogs now instead of 2 all came running out of kennels, all hell broke loose and they all went barking mad, i had a quick look and noticed the dog in questions face seemed a lot better.. anyway now im wondering if the guy rescues dogs because the big dog with scars on its back he said he only had for 2 weeks and the scars looked a lot older than that..

anyhow im still glad i phoned the rspca because he could be using the dogs for fighting or something, im gonna ring them again tonight and if they tell me out ill keep you posted. ;)

kris, my wife works for the rspca and has done for 6 years at an animal homing center. she's a vet nurse and dose all the paper work for the law suits they bring agains people who are deemed to be crule to animals.

she said steal the dogs. there obversly in danger and the rspca will take ages to be able to sezie them. there more likely be dead by the time they can and there is next to no chance the man will be brought to justice as there is only circmstantional everdance.

steal the dogs and take them to an rspca center and ask for them to be homed in a NON local center so he cant go up there an and clame them back.

the justice system in this contery is awfull at dealing with animal crulty mainly because the pleople who pass laws in this contery live in huge mannor houses and keep there dogs in kennels because there just for working/hunting!

if you dont want to do it just tell me the town and i'll put you on to some one who will.
