Does anyone know if I can program in different dates and amounts for the same client and put on one invoice???

yes create an invoice address go to "system"   "invoice addresse "  "create ""then set up 2 different jobs and choose the invoice address fo both jobs you will see a tick box in create a new job "use this address"  untick it and you will see the invoice address you created
