Just for the record, none of my comments on this subject were meant to be directed at Shiner or Malc personally. I have never given it a thought before about who should be a moderator. And it isn't my concern now, as long as they handle things judiciously I won't complain.
In a nutshell, I guess if I do have an opinion it is this: The moderators should be appointed by the Site Administrators and Owners, they know best how they want their forum to be represented, so just leave it to them. I'm sure it won't bother me one jot who they choose. It's a great forum and Mike & Admin have done themselves proud on managing it so far, keep it up and pick us a winner ;)
I should think they've quite enjoyed reading some of the comments on this though, they're obviously in no great hurry, on the whole we're quite well behaved.....most of the time.
