i would like to know in detail to the main bit would be the angle adaptor eg which 1 and what brushes would fit as a newbie probley sa silly question but somehas to ask  ;D

the bottom ive got some large drill bits so will simply drill the bottom giving hose plenty of room and of corse sand the edges down so no sharpe bits this leaves the plastic in place to protect the bottom of the pole from damage

any better ideas love to hear them
first time ive done a wfp love messing with things

I simply forced the angle adapter (from cleaning spot, standard thread, I believe) onto the cone that comes with the pole.  Twisting it on and pushing, it cuts a thread onto the cone, gives a tight fit, and can be unscrewed if necessary.

PS- I gave up reading the harris pole thread coz it got too long!!  Haven't got THAT much time to waste! ;D :D ;) ;) :o

Drill hole at the top for the hose to come out of, and soften the edge with emery/sand paper so you don't slice the hose.  I made this hole elliptical.

At the bottom, drill hole right into the centre through rubber handle, giving a hole that leads up the centre of the pole.  I drilled this hole out large enough for the hose to go in and out of without snagging when extending/retracting the pole.

Then feed the pole through either end (it's more fiddly to fish the pole throught the top small hole, but probably quicker than feeding 10 meters of hose all the way through)

It would be a normal wfp brush.

It is the angle adapter that you need to secure on the pole. See thread up.

Jeff,

That will be much appreciated if you can do that as I will buy a harris Pole in Southend's B&Q store tomorrow.
At last they have got some in stock,I've been told.
What type of brush have you on the pole then,is it a Bentley soft brush?
Cheers,
               Tony.

I have never tried the fan jet, some like them, some don't, but I can't comment on them personally because I've never tried them.

yeah of course it is - chill man!

Its just that the other Harris thread has about 4 million replies to it and it is starting to irritate me (I'm the most important person here obviously :P )

Once converted it is a proper wfp! at a fraction of the price!!

(ps I agree the other thread has got way too long!!)
