Ronnie,

The best places to get red from is farms, but its pretty risky as im sure they'll really be on the look out at the mo which prices so high.

And if you believe what they say there is an additive in it which leaves a coating on your tank so they will know if you have ever used it - and Im pretty sure they will crush your vehicle if caught

It was in the paper that Venezuala (I know cant spell lol) has the cheapest diesel at 2.5p per litre - can you believe that? apparently the last time the government there tried to raise it the country rioted. mind they are an oil rich country. do you think people will start to riot here eventually?

Time to learn from our European friends?? Active protests. Blockades. Cause food shortages. To quote Bob Marley : "a hungry mob is an angry mob."

Its very reasonable actually - it works out around £40 a week for the VeeDub but only doing 200 to 250 miles a week in it.

with saying that there's 2 of us in it, tank of water etc and a screaming mad scot at the wheel with lead laced boots!

I did drive it easy for a couple of weeks there a while back and got 260miles for 40quid

Do you mean Gas,if so it`s about £2500 and the goverment pay at least half i think. It takes up a fair bit of room in the back and in some cases the whole boot of a car.

The germans are right up on their bio diesil and apparently( get it confirmed) your vw's are good to go on bio diesel without the need to convert anything. The way the fuel prices are going at the mo those expensive modec vehicles are looking a prety option.
