how do you get old of red?
Please say you are joking ? ???
-
Ronnie,
The best places to get red from is farms, but its pretty risky as im sure they'll really be on the look out at the mo which prices so high.
And if you believe what they say there is an additive in it which leaves a coating on your tank so they will know if you have ever used it - and Im pretty sure they will crush your vehicle if caught
-
how do you get old of red?
5 grand fine if you are caught with that, my old man fills his tractors up with it, customs don't mess about if you are caught you are in the s&&t severly!!
-
It was in the paper that Venezuala (I know cant spell lol) has the cheapest diesel at 2.5p per litre - can you believe that? apparently the last time the government there tried to raise it the country rioted. mind they are an oil rich country. do you think people will start to riot here eventually?
-
my brother was caught using red a few years ago £500 fine he drives a van and only used it for his dogs would have been a lot more if he had of been using it for work doing alot of miles
-

4 day fuel protest by the fuel tankers start this Friday and the government urge the public not to panic buy. :)

Time to learn from our European friends?? Active protests. Blockades. Cause food shortages. To quote Bob Marley : "a hungry mob is an angry mob."

(sound of Gor-doom Brown)
-
Alan what your bill like for the VW.
-
Its very reasonable actually - it works out around £40 a week for the VeeDub but only doing 200 to 250 miles a week in it.
with saying that there's 2 of us in it, tank of water etc and a screaming mad scot at the wheel with lead laced boots!
I did drive it easy for a couple of weeks there a while back and got 260miles for 40quid
-
Just spoke to a customer who heard on bbc radio that by this time next year diesel will be £2.30 a litre :o :o :o :o :o :o

I can see riots!!!

Kaiserchiefs - I predict a riot
Kaiserchefs - I predict a diet
just kidding, there are going to be riots, I can't see it going any other way

That`s really good mpg for the VW.
-
how do you transfer to lgg?how much does it cost??
-
Do you mean Gas,if so it`s about £2500 and the goverment pay at least half i think. It takes up a fair bit of room in the back and in some cases the whole boot of a car.
-
wow, i was thinking for van but i aint got no room!!
it would save me about £1500 a year :o
-
The germans are right up on their bio diesil and apparently( get it confirmed) your vw's are good to go on bio diesel without the need to convert anything. The way the fuel prices are going at the mo those expensive modec vehicles are looking a prety option.
-
just filled up my van today just cost me 24 quid at 49p litre, should last about 360 miles
-

Do you still get a grant for that ? I thought they stopped it ? Way to go if you can get converted :)

-
Read in paper today , the cortina and other classics are making a comeback cos they are classic insurance and tax free , and parts are dirt cheap ;D
-
What tank would I get in a montego ?
