Customers expect there carpets to smell wonderfully fresh like a summer meadow or an orange grove? -The - "If it smells clean & fresh, it is clean & fresh" way of thinking.
I use green cleaning products and the ones I use are totally odourless, I wondered if anyone knows of a product that I can maybe add to the rinse that:
A - Won't damage my equipment
B - Can be classed as green

Hi
Another good aspect with EnviroDri, it smells great, customers are always commenting on the smell.

Agree with M, the Envirodri products do smell great.
Martin, do they have Safety Data sheets for their products?

you could always just give a light spray of odour fresh after the clean, im sure the customers all use air freshners in there homes that arent eco friendly.

problem I have found is some clients are sensitive to the smaells of freshners.
whats wrong with a neutral smell of simply clean carpets.
-
Trouble is Joe if you are cleaning wool carpets you will never get that neutral clean smell, i always tell the customer prior to the clean this way it doesnt look like you are making excuses up.

Oh yes Mark - agree with what you say re wool. but that goes as it dries.

craftex do little bottle of smelly stuff you add to the tank to create a nice smell, lemon or cherry I think they are. restormate stock craftex stuff, but not sure if they stock these. Not sure if they are green, as well, but if they are green they will cure your problem and make your van smell nice too

Karl, is that the NI728 stuff thats really strong?
