Hi,
What would you recomend me to get 6mm or 8mm microbore house and any particular reason why.
Thanks
Paul

I've always been told that 6mm is Microbore and 8mm is Minibore.
6mm is lighter and you can fit more on to a reel than 8mm. 8mm is better for con roofs as you get a greater water flow but for windows I would say use 6mm for the reasons above especially if you a lifting the reel with 100meters of bore on it in and out of the van.

I do alot of cons roof and upvc cleaning so maybe 8mm would suit me better also would you recomend getting 100m instead of 50m i don't think i need it but for the little extra i'm thinking best be safe then sorry.
Thanks for the input

I use 6mm and have never had a problem.
I always clean con roofs with tap water and then finish with pure.(Saves water imo).
Use normal garden hose and a pole I only use for facia and con roofs with.
If the con roor is clear glass or treated.ie self cleaning, then I only use pure water.

yeh better safe than sorry, i picked up a contract a couple of months ago and 100m isnt long enough from one end of building to other, but glad ive got this length!

I have always used 6mm and never had a problem but the smart money these days appears to be on the 8mm because it works better for the longer lengths used by van mounts.

Ive never used 6mm and use 8mm. I was told that some had experienced problems with pumps with 6mm microbore.
All I will say is that if your still on regular hose change it as soon as you can.
