Title: Pure Clean - Better then I thought!
Post by: Paul Simpson on June 06, 2008, 05:38:41 pm
Only used Pureclean a couple of times, mainly on lightly soiled carpets, but today tried it on a badly soiled carpet and it came up better than I expected.
Pics attached.

i have been using pure clean lately and today cleaned a carpet for a long standing customer and she has just 'phoned me to say that the carpet looks better than it has ever done! i don't know whether to be miffed or not, only joking, she is always pleased but she reckons that today she is over the moon. i will say that pure clean impresses me a lot, thanks richie  ;)

Hi Paul,
Did you use it as a pre-spray and also in the rinse tank?

I got a tub delivered on Tuesday , is it safe to use on decent wool without a acid rinse or can I use it in the solution tank aswell ?

John

I use it as a pre-spray and rinse. With the envirodi I get great results. Tread carefully with rugs though (as I found out today). May be safer on pure wool to rinse wth an acid rinse.

Used as a pre-spray (hot) and in the tank today.

However did try to use on white wool bedroom carpet last week and wasn't at all happy with the results.
Ended up going over again with Gold, but I might well have had to go over it twice anyway because of the colour showing up every bit of soiling.

Did one of my residential homes yesterday with it, I bonneted with Rotobrite last time and results where good, this time with Pureclean and the result was much better. Even better with a scoop of Enigizer added to it. ;)

Hi Guys

It's sodium tripolyphosphate aka 'microsplitters' but in a  concentrated powder form, not prediluted, very green not transporting all that water ;)

Pete

I will print some 'stuff' off Green Carpet Cleaning', when is your big day?

Cheers

Doug

Do you know whether it's got anything else in it, like some sort of colloid. It does seem to get better results from what people are saying and curiously the instruction say a dwell time is required.

Or could it just be you get spotter concentrations from their mixing ratios?

one thing about pure clean, if it is a microsplitter, why does it need a 10 minute dwell? i don't leave it that long before extracting but i thought all microsplitters worked without dwell,

Hi Guys

Pureclean contains a wetting agent which allows the STTP to wet out the dirt better.

I never really bought into MS need no dwell time, all cleaners work better with a bit of dwell.

Cheers

I wish i was Joe.  I have always had great results with most of Prochems chemicals.  In my opinion Prochem are the ones to follow.  Chemspec are also good but alot what gave good results for me affected my asthma.  HydraMaster stock some good products also.
