Christ they must be close together as on an 8 hour day with no break thats 4.8 minutes per house and that includes moving to the next job and collecting money

If I'm cleaning the houses on a local estate that I do, I can manage about 40, they are all close to each other and I can sometimes do 10 or more without moving the van, I have 150 houses on this estate, most cleaned monthly, the rest of my round is mainly large houses in the countryside, so probably only about 10 when doing these, but I charge a lot more than £3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

Think the most I've ever done is about 25.  I've also done 1 in a day and earned more than I might do from 20.  Very hard to put an average on it.
Today I did 12.  Not one of my better days.  Motivation was a bit short.

Have to say this sry, but some days we clean 3 houses others 50 everything is done to the money earnt, houses mean nothing if the money is not right, count the money not the houses as this is the end result every buiness needs "MONEY"

Like ian says its money not amount of houses. If i did 9 bungalows and 11 houses on my round i would have been done in 2 hours. Most of my bungalows £2 and houses £3 :)

Its £51 for 2 hours work surely you can manage that. Most of my rounds are very compact so no travel, most are not in so not much collection and as for chatter id be on my own.

Birdy, i would bin your wfp in that case, it's going to slow you down i reckon.

i can assure you my 20 jobs paid more than £51 quid
Title: Re: How many house per day?

My bungalows at £2 have 2 windows on front and three on the back. My houses at £3 have 5 upstairs and 3 down. Im trad at moment but struggling with wfp. I'd like to think i do a good job and am always getting recomended. I wasnt saying look how fast i am i can earn £110 an hour. Iwas just agreeing with what ian said about amount of money not houses. You have cleaned a bungalow bigger than any of us have ever seen so you probably charge more than £2 :)
Title: Re: How many house per day?

djw, id better be able to earn more than £25.50 an hour with all this wfp lark.

:) sounds like your pretty quick anyway, i can see why you would be disapointed starting out, wfp can be very quick but not on every property and your going to loose money before it's all settled down i think.

birdy that explains things dont think i need to travel to sheff to see you clean 5 windows for £3

If that is terrace houses one after the other you could knock out 40-45 an hour excluding driving. :) (30 secs a window)

I wouldnt move my car every house if i had a row of terrace houses. It would be a real ball ache ::)

Average 40-45 terraced houses in a 7 hour day if there is 2 of us we do about 60 thats traditional we are quicker with ladders than wfp on this part of the round.

I can clean more than that with my pure water high reach pole system, it lets my two lads work at the same time-double the dosh half the time...

2 working at the same time on houses together would not give you double the dosh in half the time.

Commercial it can domestics no chance

what is the point of this thread ???
i have "houses" ranging from £4.50 to £95
what a pointless question
Title: Re: How many house per day?

It's not how many houses you do a day it is how much you turnover and ultimately make in profit that is important. I could do one £300 house or 300 £1 houses, the end result would be the same - £300.

I think he only wants to know whether he`s doing things right or wrong,i don`t think it`s a case of i want to know if i earn more than you, maybe he just wants to know if his prices are good-bad on the amount of houses he`s having to do.Where have you been Mr Thorpe i thought you`d 1 the lottery.

On a 9 hour day me and my mate can do 30 x £30 houses.
We strickly have a 1 hour pub lunch and 2 other 30 minute breaks
So we only do a 3 day week
