for me, May was a very weird month
to start week one was the busiest week i've had this year
week two was the best week i've EVER had
week three was above average
Week four THE WORST WEEK I'VE EVER HAD
just weird ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Maybe the bad week was due to the school holidays, i have had a great year up to press think people are keeping what they have got and having it cleaned rather than buying new.

May was extremely good, despite a week up at LTT. And our average price ticket went up to £257.22 so well pleased.
This month has been weird already. Had 3 cancellations this week, then one rang back and re-booked.
What with the weather... ::)

Booked £900 worth of work on Friday. One of them was for Tom Chaplin who is the lead singer of Keane. Did'ny occur to me it was him when his pa rang but I could'nt believe it when he opened the door especially as I am a fan of their music. Nice bloke, he gave me a £44 tip too. Gutted I did'ny think to ask him to sign my "Hopes and Fears" CD which I had in the van.

Nice to see Yell works for you, i am not re-newing it when it runs out in a couple of months. Dont get anything from it at all.

I have 2 month trial which will be £390 if i go ahead with it for the year, had £200 of work off it in 2 weeks, although i think the rep is keeping me on the 1st page so i get more work while its on trial period.. :o

Nice to see Yell works for you, i am not re-newing it when it runs out in a couple of months. Dont get anything from it at all.
Strange isn't it. Just one single job last week (ok it was a hotel flood job on the Bank Holiday) near enough paid for half the year's cost. Hopefully we will get an ongoing contract out of it which could bring in mega amounts.
We are getting a higher than normal amount of price shoppers, so just because people aren't buying new doesn't mean they will go for the first price either.

Well today got zilch on.
Last couple of weeks been a bit quiet only 2 jobs from new Clients via leaflets/cards (my main source) the rest all repeats or referrals.
On walkabout for commercial this afternoon. Was even thinking of driving down to Swindon to suck up poo water, but thought better of it.

Been nice and busy ! and still got a grands worth of cheques to arrive :) .Spent far too much on my scirocco though ,could have brought a taxed and mot`ed one for the money i just spent !
Had to turn down a couple of big jobs this week as van in body shop until fri :(
But i have been getting rid of junk on e bay and weeding my veg patch,i hate chick weed

Ive had 60 messages left on my answer phone (to its limit) and on the caller id it says 134 although some will be duplicates and sales etc and haven't done a job last week or the week before.........strange anyone one might think I'm a Mickey Mouse carpet cleaner.
