Title: dry fusion and flotex
Post by: ISM_CLEANING on January 19, 2005, 01:50:03 pm
Hi all,

some advice from any fusioneers would be appreciated.

I have been asked to quote for the cleaning of bedrooms at a nursing home.

carpets being flotex, on the dry fusion course we were told that the system could not be used on this type of carpet. I know the resistance would be great, but has anyone used dry fusion on flotex and what were the results like .

regards

Ian

With all that resistance, there is a considerable risk of damage to the machine. I have heard of others  cleaning smaller areas successfully, but HWE is the prefered method on Flotex. That's what I use.

Texatherm, I believe, approve their system on these carpets, but their machine/system is of a different design.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

I can confirm that Texatherm is fine on Flotex.
