hi guys,
crossed over to the dark side to be able to do some very high 3 storey leaded upvc. bought a very very very simple system from xline (cheers mate) well chuffed for the money. however lifting the brush off the glass to rinse with pole maxxed out on length is quite a strain as the pole is quite bendy. i'm not washing the frames just the glass..so can i rinse with the brush on the glass or is it best to lift off a few inches (can't manage 1/2 inch as not enough control on bendy pole). might put some piccies on here of my system bodged together, just to balance out the effort some people have put on here...you'll p!ss your selves at how bad it looks, just as a taster my storage tank is my old one from seven years ago, which my mate was using as water butt, a recycled blue 45 gallon plastic drum, jump leads connecting pump up, but i did splash out on some shiny jubilee clips..lol. did job tho the dried spotless, well chuffed with all the horror stories on here of first cleans. once again xline many thanx for advice and cheap parts.
cheers

I always rinse on, but people have differrent opinions.Three stories up definitly on no worries.
Don't be so proud of yourself for being a cheapo, you are making a mistake. The more you spend the better you will do.

cheers. but only joking. besides does job and i have absolutely no intentions of doing anything but using this setup for my 3 storey work maybe con roofs. y shud i spend more than a tenner on a tank, it only carries water round, i produce pure on site with di unit.
so just to clarify, rinsing with brush on glass shud give me good results
cheers

8) since you did a good job and you were proud of it... What else matters?
Cheap system or more expensive ... if the jobs done well... be proud! 8)
Rinsing on is fine!
A good pole might be a wise investment though! ;)
And finally the most expensive equipment may not be always the best, but the cheapest seldom are! 8)

Always rinse on, get perfect results, and this is just my first day of using it on all my customers. Works brilliantly, why make it difficult for yourself.
Two things that you need.
Mono brush
1.5lpm or more flowrate.
