Is anyone of you thinking of doing a D.I.Y on the new Pro 10
I think its the pro 10.. You know the one,The one That lets you clean with a WFP on the inside ::)
Its Just when I saw it I didnt think much too it, But this week I have a job and it would be perfect for it...
I know that you lot have mastered the WFP and hot WFP
This is the next step ;D

Its not that hard, it just requires a bit of spare cash and alot and alot of time, Luke

Ahhh.... looks easy, just sellotape a coupla squeegees to yer brush and you'll be sorted.... :P
Seriously though, I don't think creating the "brush" would be that much of a problem.... but the suction side of it might be a bit tricky?

Ive not seen the Pro 10 myself but I would have thought an adapted carpet shampooer would be suitable for the suction!

I'm sure it's been done already using a wet vac/upholstery cleaning machine filled with pure water and slightly modifying the wet pickup head.
If I remember right it worked well and cost less than £500.
Do a search of a few forums, you should come across it.

I wasnt impressed at all with the Ionic indoor system when I held it at Windex....just seemed an unfinished product, Luke

we have just bought the 40ft pole but havnt bothered with the machine because as already been said it is just a carpet cleaning machine with a filter added so we will just use our carpet cleaner but fill it with pure water , the pole alone cost £1800 +vat and in my opinion is very overpriced as it is just a wet vac attachment with two jets added and a carbon fibre goosneck that the suction comes through, i would have spent time making one myself but we have a few jobs coming up where it will be needed and i dont have the time to experiment and get it right.
having said the above ionics must of spent thousands to develope the product and have to get this money back somehow it just hurts a bit when i am one of the lucky ones paying for it.

That carbon fibre goose neck is the only one in the industry with a very important bend. Maybe the rest of us could just use plumbers elbows ?

hi ian
we have just bought the pole and and are running it from the carpet machine it is a bit slow to use and the results are not perfect but once again health and safety is what seems to count these days.
