The new Mac operating system comes with a facility to run both Mac OSX Leopard and any Windows Operating System on the same Computer:
www.apple.com/macosx/features/bootcamp.html (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/bootcamp.html)
But by far the best way to run Windows applications on a Mac is to use this:
www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/ (http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/)
Parallels allows you to switch OS without re booting, unlike the built in facility on Mac OSX Leopard. So you can jump between either OS at the touch of a button, luke

So if i install the xp on the imac, can i deffo run george on my mac?
-
Yes, If you install XP using Boot Camp or Parallels, Luke

How both of the programs work is by splitting the Hard drive into two sections:
1 side for Windows Operating System
1 side for Mac Operating System
So essentially you have 2 computers on 1 computer. Parallels is the superior program because it allows INSTANT movement from Windows into Mac and visa versa, Luke

thanks for that luke, gonna go get xp tomoz......thanks ;)

In my opinion XP is a better OS than Vista and cheaper!!!! I bought Vista for my laptop, installed it and the next day after using it extensively, removed it and went back to XP, Luke
