Title: website links
Post by: Robert Watson on June 01, 2008, 02:31:59 pm
Hi Folks.
Yes another boring link exchange thread.
This post is only intended for people you are serious about SEO and know what they are doing.
I am about to start a big link exchange campaign.

Heres the deal. I have at least ten carpet cleaning sites and growing that I look after.
If you send me your preferred code, I will link you up to all the sites.
I will send you my codes and all you have to do is copy and paste them into your links page code and upload.
If you can do this yourself then great, if not then I can communicate with your webmaster (only if they are on the ball)

This is a boring and tedious job to do, so I defiantly wont be messed about.
I don't use Link exchange program's as I don't trust them (rightly or wrongly) Its all hand coded.
Would really prefer page ranks of 3 and above, but this is not written in stone.

Hope to here from some of you.
Cheers
Rab  ;)

Thanks Mark. Is a 2 better than a 3 or does it go the other way?

HIGHER THE BETTER

Not many CC sites are over PR3

Spencers high ranking sites are PR3 according to toolbar.

Hi Art.
0 Nil (bad) 10 imposable Google only gives its`self an 8.
2s are exceptable for linking.
But the links page will probably be 0 or 1. That can only be improved with diligent recipical linking.
My home page has dropped from 3 to 2 (must do more work) But links page is now ranked 3  :D
So looking for similar rankings.

Thats why I am building a network of people who wont mess about and
want to keep their sites at the top of Google for years to come.
Cheers
Rab.

Ranking is not going to put you on top of search engines, good coding is, someone searching "office cleaning solihull" aint gonna look at the page rank.
