Well the final turbine on subs and ocean going ships produces steam thro a condeneser to make potable water to which they chuck back in  the "muck" to make/balance it and it to give it taste and minerals etc so why not.

But its a controversial topic as you will find when the replies start5 coming in especially when I agree with you !

Dont drink anything thats been passed  through a DI system though, unless its food grade quaulity resin and hose.

Or did you mean Walter Mitty  :) ps you can change the topic spelling if you want, but hey we all know what you mean.

Pure water is absolutely fine to drink, infact it's quite nice actually. A lot of our RO's are actually for the food industry.

But I wouldn't drink it after DI, I don't think the resin we use is used for consumption.

I have been tempted on a hot day but recently i've noticed some algae in my holding tank and van tank and wasn't too keen after inspecting my submersible pump inlet when i changed the hose the other day.  :-X

if through a domestic filter then yes maybe 100gpd 200gpd 300gpd other than that I would say no, anything with di I would not ever drink it.

A post I just read about alge there is a problem/disease, I cannot remember the name for the life of my, it is something to do with the war.

A note is somethings that you cant see are dangerous and this doesc includes water.
