can any one help please.
Got a small tank in my van, added 50 metres hose, leisure battery, took the pump box from my trolley - now have van mount.
Problem is - turn off water flow (to change pole, or adjust height etc.) re-connect water and NOTHING - no water.
Current solution is: Go back to the van (brush head in hand) adjust flow too full, then reduce to needed flow. (very time consuming / frustrating).
What happens is when the water flow is stopped (with the pump still running) and when the pump is turned off - the water runs down the hose back to the water feed pipe at the base of the tank.
My hose there is transparent - so I can see this happen.
If it only falls back an inch or two we're usually ok. More than that though and NO WATER, (till adjusted).
Apart from working at full flow or lowering the pump / raising the tank............
Has anyone had / solved this problem !??
Any help greatly appreciated.

I have had that problem on occasion, but have found it usually clears itself, though I have had to on one or two occasions do the same as yourself.
When I am adjusting the height of the pole, or swapping from one pole tro the next I will either just fold and pinch the hose near the brush head, or if I need to stop the water flow for a little longer than a couple of seconds, I will yet again fold and pinch the flow off, and to hold the 'pinch' together I tie a quick knot in the hose.
Works a treat, the water pressure is maintained as the pump is of course running, undo the know when I am ready and off I go ;)
If my explanation is a little unclear I'll post a couple of pics........if I can still remember how to do them that is :-\

are you van mounted now from a (trolley) with 50 mtrs. hose and a 60 psi pump ?
