Salmon brush works fine so you can't blame the brush.

Everybodies flow rate is adjusted to suit their speed they work at comfortably without skimping or wasting water accordingly.

I rinse brush on, and get no problems.

Ionics multipole brush, 1.7lpm flow rate.

After the scrub of the frame, I rapidly brush one of the crossbars to get the brush a bit cleaner. Then I just rinse in a zig zag motion.

I'm a wfp noob, only done a couple of days, but this is what works for me.

Scrub whole frame first, then start at the top of the window, if seals are holding water droplets, catch the drips of the top (if there are any) with the brush, and without water flow, turn flow back on, then go twice horizontally over the top of the glass, after that scrub the window pane twice, go back to top of glass, rinse the top well, including the corners, and then zig zag down.

Works for me.

I prefer brush off for this exact reason.  It takesz a bit more physical effort, but the results I don't have to worry about...

I use a vikan oval mono with pencil jets with no probs rinsing on most of the time. However it doesn't work on all windows. Depends on the condition of the frames. It also didn't work till I'd done them at least three times 'cause there was too much dirt in the bristles.

Hi Joe,clean the window as you normally would going across the top and up and down when you`ve finnished brushing go back to the  top and let the water just flow down pulling the brush down with it on the glass, you need to use more water than you normally would. The water should be flushing down the glass even as your brushing,if i come across difficult windows i take my time on the first clean or so.The best way to show that it works is for you to pick certain windows that don`t give any problems, with that brush you now have just scrubbing with a good flow is all you need to do the job,the problem your having sounds like either sash windows or similar and these will need a couple of cleans but you should still be able to rinse on when you get them up to scratch.

i will give it a go as it makes sense now

cheers

thanks joe

A vikan Oval doesn't come in mono does it.

I got my Vicans from PureFreedom bout a year back. Asked for monos specifically as I work with cold water and wanted the scrubbing power of monofillaments for stubborn bird muck.

Is that because of the weight of it being easier to clean the roof with? :)

No it`s because that`s all it`s good for, there car cleaning brushes being sold at 3-4 times the price at least because they have jets in them.
