mostly i use ionics multipole brush or vikan mono but have used salmon in the past, out of these 3 i find the only problem is the vikan mono is a bit "flicky" on leaded! but other than that i rinse on with every brush i use and have never tried vikan standard.
no problems so far!
so why now seeing the threads about the "tucker brush" do i feel yet another purchase coming on!!
is it just me? do others get bored of watching the same old brush every day even though its doing the job just fine??
.... must be the rain making me lose the plot!

we used the vikan brushes for nearly 2 years - thought they were rubbish from day one
we have used salmon brushes for nearly 3 years now - much better but would like to try a tucker - heard a lot of good reports about them, at the end of the day the brush is at the business end.

Some brushes that are stiff bristled turn soft when using hot water. The Tucker brush remains pretty consistent wether using hot or cold water.
IMO it's pricey but very good at shifting stubborn dirt and for it's quality in not retaining dirt in the bristles.
Being a mono filament, double trim (easily cleans window frames as well-owing to the outer bristles being of longer length than the inner bristles), this brush will last for many years without the bristles falling out.
Also it is very lightweight as the brush is basically a stock with bristles.
The Tucker brush will easily fit existing Ionic commercial pole goosenecks, otherwise you will have to figure out a way of adapting the brush head to fit the universal plastic gooseneck adaptors. Search for DIY conversion threads posted on this topic.

assuming a few of you have looked at the brush on ebay , what do you think of it ?

That brush does not have a standard thread, the thread on it has lined grooves that takes a cone adapter. The best way to convert this brush is to put superglue inside the thread and superglue the angle adapter, you will have to say goodbye to the angle adapter though but what`s a couple of quid. What i do to make sure it`s in line is chalk the black adapter before lining it up in the middle,i do the same on the brush head with a coloured felt pen cos once it`s stuck it`s stuck and it`s so annoying if it`s out of line. You need to use plenty of water with this brush if using pencils, the bristles dry out very quickly as there mono bristles are different to that of the vikan mono brush, this brush works better if it`s fanned. This is the brush Peter also supplies.
