I'm using a Vikan 18" brush on a 57" pole (bad combo). The brush is far too heavy, where can I get a lighter one, preferably mono.

Can you not trim the plastic right down will make it lighter

would a brick with bristles not be a bit lighter?
only kidding - I'm trying to buy a tucker brush right now - apparently they are light as a feather and the best brush out there but maybe someone else here will know.
why don't you try a smaller brush?

I wouldn't have a problem getting a smaller brush, but would prefer the 18".
1. for stability
2. won't have to push it up and down so many times.
Just had two full days using it.
These old bones aint what they used to be.

from what others have said about tucker I think its the way forward for you - I know they do an 18inch dual trim brush but no idea how much they are

he says the distributer here is aquafactors direct and its around 60quid.
I reckon thats a bit of a joke for a brush.

Yep it actually is that much, it's ridiculous.
You could try an Ionics dual trim brush, those are lighter.

You could say the price is a joke but from my experience i know it wont be bettered anytime soon and it has paid for it's self many times over . You get what you pay for.

The dual trim Tucker in 18" is 3 times as light as the Vikan 18".
