Need some help here please.
Yours truly will be getting his mug shot taken next week for a magazine which contacted the SLWCN through licensing. This is a free distributed magazine in certain areas of Scotland and as well as raising the profile of the SLWCN and licensing I have requested H&S is added in as well. This I see is a great opportunity as well as selling licensing to the public, WFP should also be promoted as this is the tool of the future.
Has anyone got any information that either the HSE has done or any other documents that promote health and saftey and the benefits of WFP.
Just contact us through the contacts form on the SLWCN website.
One other good news for window cleaners in Scotland the SLWCN has just signed a deal with Yellow Pages in promoting licensing and the SLWCN.
Need the information by Monday.
Many Thanks

I thought you needed 250 members to get a corporate listing in yp ?
Do you not have a designated h&S officer on your committee ?

Dave,
250 members is no problem ;), got it agreed with slightly less as we have held back on sending out applications to the other 1000+ licensed window cleaners. We were just trying to get a few more deals going which are nearly in the bag.
No we don't have a H&S officer but have a name penned down.
Our main aim was to see if this was a acheivable and now we have the green light. Things will be put in place over the next few months but probably not an association route, there is a lot of structuring and meetings involved.

Forgot to add, we are getting people (non window cleaning) contacting us now.
We are now in the position where we don't have to chase!!!
