hey guys i have heard about wfp backpack systems are they any good or just plant sprays ??
-
If you could get a van mount then I wouldn't bother with a backpack! I do have one and hardly ever use it, I think I would definitely choose a trolley system over one if I was starting from scratch again. having said that some on here like them ???

Hi.
no , nothing like plant sprays.... ;)
they are a good way to start wfp....cheaply....
they carry around 15 litres of pure water, and the pump is 40 psi... i used one for seven months.
the thing i hated most was filling the darn thing every other house, from 25 litre drums.
i also hated carryimg around all day on my back, even though the weight was ok.... i felt like i was in the army, or a ghostbuster.
seriously , its a good cheap way to set up wfp, and some on here swear by them, even if only for bad access properties....
but i was really glad to move to a van mount....
after all.... where can a backpack go... that a thin hose pipe cant?
Gay.

Cheers dave,
was debating on getting one as I have heard they only have one setting and didnt know if the pressure was good etc.
Is it good? and what else do you need to get other than an extra pole, i.e battery, connections etc.
Thanks

they have good pressure, battery is fitted just plug in and charge a couple of connections are needed but that depends on the hose you are using as to what you need but wcw will sort you out with these .

£529 seems a very high price, £200 odd you should be able to get the lot including a pole.
