Hot water and clampless poles don't mix well,... my pole hoses are gradually getting softer and softer, and are starting to kink inside the pole.
I need to replace the hoses on all my clampless poles with something that isn't affected so much by the hot water. It can be as flexible as standard microbore,.. but not a whole lot more.
Any ideas what I can use?

I spoke to Killis yesterday, and they said they do a pole hose that is extra heavy duty, its braided or something. I just bought their non braided heavy duty stuff, 30p a metre I think.

You don't want that braided stuff for a pole hose i bought some once and its way to heavy.
Have you tried the black pole hose that gardiners and wintecs sell don't know if its any differant than the standard stuff

Cheers mate,.. I'll give them a ring.
I'm using double layer silicone/braided pvc at the moment,.. but it's just not up to the job. It's the same size as microbore,.. so not too heavy on smaller poles (Up to 30'),... and to be honest microbore is the perfect size,.. I just need heat proof microbore!

You can get reinforced braided hose down to 2-3mm,some ironmongers do it i got some last week 3 meters for £1.50.Car spares places might have it but forget halfords.

Isn't Alex coming up with some sort of hose for hot water?

Why not try some copper piping........ it works a treat on my central heating

Isn't Alex coming up with some sort of hose for hot water?
The hose Alex has is insulated and is Minibore size (8mm ID),.. just a bit too big for my needs.
I might try just standard microbore,.. anyone know where's the cheapest place to get 30 mtrs?
