How does this affect us?

No it's for manufacturers and importers.

But yet more red tape for them though and further evidence ( as if its needed ) of how this miserable country is being swallowed up by European Laws  >:(

I asked this question (on behalf of the hubby) to one of our customers who deals with this sort of thing. He works for the Government of Finland and assures us that we have nothing to be concerned about at our level, just the usual precautions that are already in places when carrying/using chemicals.
Given that this is his level of expertise We'll go by what he says not what some might like to start to start reading into.

I thought we were the only country that took any notice of these sort of laws anyway  ???

It won't effect the French as they do what they want, the Eastern European states flout every law they can and there is no point trying to stop them as they don't have any money, so a fine is out of the question. And it won't effect the Scandinavians because as it is so cold no one will go up there to check.

Didn't know they had chemicals in Finland, thought everything was a solid  :P
