Post by: jonah on May 25, 2008, 07:14:43 am
My tds is 78 , so I am getting a 650ltr tank and double Di vessel fitted to the van !  Wondered how long the resin will last ?  Or how many litres of water can i produce before the resin needs changing ? Doesnt have to be exact calculation , just wondered about the running costs  ;D Thank you .

Mine is 78 too. A bag of 25 resin will last me 2 months running through 1 vessel, so running through 2 vessels will last longer.

It also depends on what resin you use as well, and having a 2nd vessel will prolong your resin as well.

Hello Jonah,

Why don't you get yourself a merlin RO.

That way your DI resin will last a lot longer.

I have a 300GPD RO setup in my garage and a 250ltr DI setup in my van and have only just had to replace my resin in tank after 1year 2months.

Hope this helps you.

Kind regards. :)

Mr Bungalow

why reply to and bring up old posts (mid 2008) when the originating poster and the repliers have all since left the forum  ;)
