Simple Really, just what do prefer and why. Pro's and Cons Please!

You have to remember that people will quite simply vote for what they have, and pencil jets are a more popular setup from suppliers. Pencil jets are generally cheaper, and less work is involved putting them on brushes.

I have both and i like pencil jets.
A couple of years ago quite a few on here where saying fan jets where the best thing since sliced bread.
I bought some and hated them.
I think most of those people have now changed back to pencil jets
The best pencil jets i have come across are from gardiners they are perfect.

dunno just get on better, especially when rinsing. My son prefers pencil for the same reason

ive used pencil jets since i started wfp a few years ago up until a couple of months ago when i ordered a new brush with fan jets the jury is still out on these but over time im becoming more confident with them but at the moment pencil jets come out top ask me in a few weeks when ive started going back to the first propertys that i used them on and i minght change my mind :)

Cheers :)
If people rinse on the glass how does it make any diff if jets through the brush are jets or fans ?
-
never used pencil jets so couldn't comment , find the fan ok as get more coverage

i rinse on as the spray would be going all over from the fans if rinsing off , the rinse is better as you are getting a wider spray all at once , i allso reckon its keeping my brush cleaner as the water going all through the bristles and not just central as with pencil jets . :)

I have used both, I prefer pencils and a high flow rate. I have used fans but I find with the sill brush I like, they make a mess. If I used a different brush maybe I would like fans but they dont work with a sill brush at all well.

hi , Matthew of clear vision came up with a simple but effective idea,
on our wfp brushes , some of us prefer pencil or fan spray, well now we can have the best of both worlds, i made mine and its great, at the turn of 2 numptys you can change the spray pattern, just buy 2 pairs of 2 way Hagen valves, remove from plastic casing as its not needed, take it from me it works brilliantly, thanks Matthew for a great but simple idea
WORD OF WARNING when you go to buy them, make sure they are the opposite to one another, left and right, you may have to search through there racks as they look the same, but they are there,
