Title: Problems with connector after pump.
Post by: [GQC] Tim on May 24, 2008, 12:10:50 am
I've got a male hoselock connector on my outlet on the shurflo, but it keeps leaking where the connector meats the male hoselock? I've inspected the rubber o-ring, and it looks fine, it's all new anyway. I'm thinking that there is too much pressure on the connector there. What do you think?

It's leaving a small puddle after doing a job, not good.

I'm thinking about getting a straight barb on there, I'll have a look on cleaningspot or something, see if they do one.

Is there one on this page? I'm confused. I'm pretty sure the shurflo has a 3/4" barb? I'm using 1/2" reinforced hose for my vehicle connections btw.

John guest fittings to screw on the outlet? I didn't know they existed. Where can I get one? :)

Can anyone tell me what connector I need, or if I need a connector, maybe there's an easy fix for the hoselock connector?
