What setting do you lot have it on for a good flow rate, many WC`s i talk to use different settings some say 2 is enough some say 4 is better.I have a mark 2 version and get plenty of water at about 10-11 o`clock with my setup,i`m just interested to know if there is 1 setting that is the prefered with the guy`s on here that have 1.It`s a bit like the debate with the numbers on the backpack lol.

I have 2 x Vari2's and I find a 1.0lpm shurflo is good on the 11oclock setting & the 1.4lpm shurflo has the same flow on the 10oclock settng

On mine i get loads of water at 10-11 o`clock.

well i have been running my digi on 1 for some time now, but i have recently put it to 2 because its slowed down for some reason

100PSI Shurflo, 100m minibore.
Setting 1 : 1.7lpm
Setting 2 : 2.0lpm
Setting 3 : 2.2lpm
I use number one, works well enough for brush on rinsing.

Where did you get those figures from,if there yours i`d be more inclined to trust it over some paperwork you got with it.

Yes they are mine, bucket and stopwatch, poured the bucket into a measuring jug, and voila. :)

yeah but what pump are you using - the setting number only indicates the pump speed - a bigger flow rate pump will pump more on the same setting than a smaller pump.
all our pumps are 5.2lpm and we run them on setting 2 or 3.
me - setting 3

It's the Shurflo, that has the highest flow, is it the 946?

Tim,
a different question for you mate, if you can answer to how much volume of water will there be in 100mts of hose with the 8mm type?
Cheers Tony.

Its 5 028.571 428 6 millililitre
or
5.028 571 428 6 litre
or basically just over 5 litres or just over 5kg.
[/i]
I used the following equation to work out the cubic millilitres then converted it to cubic litres.
The radius of the hose is 4mm, or half of the 8mm diameter. The length or height is 100,000 mm.

I meant the digi 1 Luke,i have the same 1 as you the old mark 2.I`m going to go out and have a look at my pump in a minute as Alan says it must be the most powerfull of the 100psi shurflos i have,i only need mine on 10 o`clock for loads of water.
