Title: Inlet strainer for back pack
Post by: Art on May 20, 2008, 11:53:42 pm
My backpack has arrived from the States, but it doesn't come with an inlet strainer.

Can these be bought on there own? and if so from where?

I've got the one from the states as well, didn't even think about using a strainer.

Tim, look at page 7 of the manual. Unless i'm reading it wrong, but the way it's written the strainer is detachable. There's nothing like that as far as i can see

PS What did you do about the US charger, did you buy an adaptor or a new charger?

I have a battery charger in the workshop, so I can just hook it up to that, bypassing the connector completely. :)

I bought one from the states, charger was not fully charging battery so I bought a charger that trickle charged, now works a treat.

The backback hasn't got an inlet strainer but it has got a cap strainer on the outlet. I keep rinsing the backpack and cleaning the strainer out evey couple of days.

Hi Basil, Where did you get the charger and what type is it?
