what are the pros and cons of each from your experance please

Microbore gives you pressure problems galore,it will blow switches like there going out of fashion and the flow of water is not as good with it.The only good thing about it is you can gets loads ona reel and it`s slightly lighter than mini, minibore gives a superior flow of water and is hassle free in the pressure problem department, once it settles on the reel you`ll know no difference.Mini is so reliable it`s boring.By the way i don`t use pressure switches, flo controller.

I can only comment on this when using Shurflo pumps because they are all I use and supply.
NWH is spot on with his comments. We won't supply microbore any longer than 50 metres. If it's over this length it's minibore every time. It puts far less strain on the pump and gives much better flow rate for a given power setting.

Microbore you will be lucky not to have problems.
Minibore (8mm) you wont have any problems.

I have both minibore and microbore.
I get pressure problems with microbore i now sits in my shed.
Minibore i have been using for about 2 years now and have not had any problems at all with it.
Im using flojet 60psi pumps.
Maybe when i get a new pump i will get a more powerful one and try my microbore out again but im really happy with the minibore i expect i will stay with that

Minibore for me ;)

I'm in the process of going over to Mini-bore, just waiting for it to arrive ::) Poles and required connectors here, but No Hose.
Will report back once i have had chance to use it.
