Off to the local Auctions this week.
I got £5,500 in the wallet.
I'll put pics up once I got, looking for a Kangoo/Berlingo/Partner

I`d look for a bigger van if your WFP.
-
Thats what Ive made my mind up for. Payload of 800Kg would be nice, with a 350 litre.
-
Hows it going mate ? You dont seem to post as much these days . . . . you must be coining it in lol ;D take care .
-
Well, thats true I guess.
Family stuff thIS year, mum dying.

if you ve got 5500 ,try going to citroen dealers first mate ,youmight drop on a decent trade in.
-
Hey I have a kangoo on a T plate if you wanna give me £5500 for it. Includes a 125l tank and all you need for a tank setup ;D
Bob
-
for that i would look at an ex bt transit, i got mine for 6500, at 45000 miles, and it was in really good condition, but you could get it for you budget,
unless of course your looking for a van that is almost like a car,
but i would go as big as possible, makes like so much easier
-
too small mate think about tomorrow

i just got a ex-british gas kangoo 2002 mint condition, up graded payload 800kg, 51,123miles, £2500.
IMO propper bargen, best advise i was given is look look and look again. there out there. the money you have should get you a propper gem!

I've got 400L in a Doblo (730kg payload) If I start at 9 am I sometimes run out by 3pm and so have to carry an extra 50L in barrels or go back and put in another 100/150L to last the day. This can take anything between twenty minutes and forty minutes depending how organised I've been.
My advice is that 350L is too small. Go bigger, at least 500 preferably 650 IMO.
If you are extremely careful, don't carry ladders or extra stuff and only have one operator you can squeeze 500L in a Doblo legally - but it's close!
Next time (Oct 2010) I will go for the Doblo 800kg or a bigger/newer van.

-
Who said anything about flat out ;D
Well, we'll see anyway, happy enough with things as they are.
Matt
-
what payload is it , a 600 or 743kg
-
600
-
What year is your van matt, is it a di or cdti!!?
-
Its a 54 plate 1.7DTI
-
looks good mate is it ex royal mail?
ar eyou all buzzing when you drive it like i am at the mo? i've been getting qoutes for sign writing all day from guys off ebay. much cheaper that local guys!
-
Its not ex-Royal Mail, there were loads of them there, but only 1.3 engine size, also they didnt have side doors.
But they all had about 35,000 on the clock and were going for less than £1,500 each, talk about a bargain.
Love driving it at the mo, thinking about sign writing now, gotta get a tank in there too, but still got the trolley in the mean time.

mine came with some great racking at the back which i'm gonna keep in there so i'm gonna get a 300/350 tank instead of 400 now. i can always pop a few 25ltr drums in for extra if i find i need them.
what tank you gonna get?
-
Yea same as you I think, with the same intention of putting an extra one or two in if necessary.
