Dave, I am from Poole / Bournemouth (lived here all my life)

There are companys that sub contract out work, but at a lot lower rate, they normal like that you dont have a sign write van and they can take that work away from you at any time, I knock back some window cleaning and cleaning companys and just keep to getting my own work now

Try West Howe estate. Not the best area in the world but its a massive estate and i'm always getting calls from there but I have enough work.

Send a letter to this company, www.coastalcontractcleaning.co.uk/2569/frames.php tell them unwritten van and your cheapest hour or day rate (sell yourself) and this company suby work as well www.ashleycleaning.co.uk again its all about the price! which I personal wouldnt do, but its up to you

Also try office cleaning companys, as they normal get the WC with the office cleaning contract

serious dave dont go down that road. you will be busy earning penuts so you wont av time to build your own stuff up. your better off looking for part time job with a local wc firm.

Beggers cant be choosers and you cant write estates off like that. I'm sure there are alot of good people there who are crying out for a wc.

Its ok for us who have commercial and good domestic but for someone starting out and who wants to work then theres rich pickings to be had even in places like these and you could build a round quick. If you tried Queens park or Glenferness av you wouldn't get a sniff.

I used to do a council estate up in South Oxhey in Watford which was worse than West Howe and I could do £200 a day wfp. It wasn't easy though.

Window washers

No, just South Oxhey. It was the first round I bought when I left my office job. I did it for 2 years and then I'd had enough. But I'm grateful to it as it gave me a base and steady money coming in until I went onto better work.

any one seen the channel 4 advert when the camera comes through the rather nasty looking councle est with all the washing blowing in the wind?

well thats where i grew up, ferrier est SOUTH EAST LONDON! now thats rough!!

our ice cream man used to come round at 11pm he had dreadlocks down to his bumand smoked the biggest spliff you have ever seen. i very much doubt he sold much ice cream but lots of.......

i'm not proud of coming from a councle estate at all. i'm proud of my mother for bringing me up to be good, honest, and to walk with my head held high for the right reasons. i'm proud ofmy mum for doing her best to make sure we got out of there and neither me or my family ever haveting to go down that road again!
