At the moment i have an Ionic Thermopure, never had a problem with it its been a fantastic system and imo worth the money. Im upgrading to a larger van and am now swayed towards the Omnipole hot water system. Does anyone have one? I have been impressed with the service from them so far, quick to reply to emails, looks like they really know there stuff ect. Ionic have been a little poor on there service, considering the amount of money i want to spend, cant do this, cant do that, cant fit the system in this type of van ect. Obviously Ionic are the only company that have had the crash test, does this matter as Omnipole seem to fit the tank in a similar sort of way, but with no crash test?
Apart from the above and Concept 2o, anyone else make a hot system?

You can DIY a hot system real easy,.. especially if you already have experience using hot WFP.

Yeah i know, but id rather just turn up, leave the van for a couple of days, and drive away to start work. :)

All we know about the thatchem test is what we've read, so it's hearsay, but the system should be tested with the relavent van for it to be binding. IE. unless it was tested with the exact van you intend to get it has no advantage insurance wise over a system that hasn't.
As a newbie I too would have gone thermopure. But you arent a newbie now.
All that is needed on a van is a leisure battery, a tank, a varistream and pump, a reel, and a heater. Thats six items, the vari and pump cost £200(they come together already wired up), the reel is £200, a 650l tank is £200, a reliable lpg on demand CE marked heater is £300. The total cost is £900.
The running cost of an LPG system is £1 a day.

We understand this niceandclean. I know from your posts you make smart decisions. What Nathaenael is telling you, what I am telling you..... this is a better system. Especially when you consider the running costs of £1 a day.
I get what you are saying though and this also makes sense. No worries.
