Title: Risk Assessment & Method Statement
Post by: julianbiggs on May 17, 2008, 09:41:35 am
Morning chaps. I need to do risk assessments and method statement for a new contract on a 15 storey hotel which we are starting on Monday. I am confident of what i need to put in them both but could do with a bit of help in the way it need to be set out. I'm rubbish at spreadsheets !! If anyone has examples of both that they could e mail me and then I could adjust them according to the work we're gonna be doing I'd really appreciate it.

Any help as usual would be greatly appreciated.

Please email to julian.biggsy@btinternet.com

Thanks
Julian

hi julian
in what way are you going to access the exteriors, are they being cleaned by rope access or cradle or are they the type that can be cleaned from the inside by opening, if you can give me a bit more info i could send you one you can adjust to fit the job.

We are cleaning them from the inside. Each room has a metal hook bolted into the floor in the corner of the room, so we can attach our harness, rope and karibiner to it. We dont actually get out or lean out of the windows as they turn in on themselves. The harness is there as a safety precauction.
