Has anybody cleaned a suite that consisits of novalife material? Its is suppossed to be a leather alternative , the care instructions say to rub with a wet cloth only and if any other procedures are used the warranty would be void.
Also it say's that you shouldn't brush it when wet?
The client is willing to sign a disclaimer as suite cost £2,500 and is only 3 years old and has very dirty contact area's.

You may find the warranty is void anyway if the suite has not been properly cared for, ie cleaned regularly. Apparently this fabric can be put in the wash ie loose cushions etc, so cleaning should not be a problem. You can always clean it, wait for it to dry, then dry brush it using a soft brush.

Hi Mark
Sounds like a faux suede , these can be HWE cleaned, not too hot and don't use any solvent spotters.

I have done quite a few of these using HWE. The material can become weak when wet, this is probably why it says dont brush when wet.
If there are stains and they need agitating just be carefull the material does'nt disintigrate.
