Work is coming in nicely now. Full diary for this week and almost full for next!!
Im having plenty of flyers delivered and they are my new glossy 2 sided colour ones and seem to be doing the biz! Approx 6,000 delivered per week.
Im seriously thinking about door knocking when I get my prowler when it gets quiet again. That way I can get work done at the same time with minimum hassles. When I do a job Im also going to start putting a flyer through the 5-10 houses to the left and right and across the road along with a 10% discount voucher and see how that goes.
I guess the secret is keeping the marketing going and dont stop doing it. Its sure working for me at the moment!

i to do the same thing with the leaflets, sometimes in school holidays bully a few kids into posting around were im working an pay em a few quid when i finish the job.

That's exactly what the secret is marketing and not just 10000 leaflets then saying it doesn't work.You have got to keep at it

6000 a week :) :)
keep that up and in 3 months you'll soon be riding the gravy train with wads of cash in every pocket
just don't lose your bottle and cut back if the response is'nt immediate.

Theres a guy around the corner who works for a firm that do leaflets. He has 3 or 4 lads out with him who i think put them in while he drives around supervising them. At the end of the day you never know if all 6,000 are being pushed thru letterboxes but its the only leafleting option I have at the moment.
I got a letter from AMARO last week saying they are having an early bird sale and are charging £20 per thousand. This still isnt bad but they wont be going out solus...maybe with 2 or three other leaflets.
Might be an option if anyone is interested let me know

Oh yes and he only charges me £10 per thousand even though I give him a box of 6-7,000 at a time - he says nothing seems to mind! :D

Well done mate sounds like you have been putting the work in and you are getting the rewards now.
I've been thinking of chucking more money at leaflet distribution. What's put me off is the poor return, but the more I think about it you are better off cleaning rather than leafleting because even if you get a ROI that is break even you are getting more and more referrals and clients over time.

If that doesn't sound silly can I see a sample of your leaflets guys? Do you put the 10% offer under or on the top of the leaflet?

You'd be better writing a letter saying you cleaned at number XX, much better response and people hang on to these, I now get 1-2 coming back but may be from a year ago.
