Rinse the hell out of them mate. There is no hosepipe ban yet. ;D
Weve had the same problem today. We checked them after and they dried crap. I then went over them again with more rinse and all seemed fine.
To be honest though ive only had my system a couple of days so im waiting for replies with interest too. 8)

If it`s dust in the air there`s nothing you can do but stand there and fan it away lol, give the frames a good clean so they`ll see that you`ve done your job and the dust is not your fault.I love some customers, after you came last time it rained. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Use a high flow rate and you'll actually wash the dust away quicker. I do this and get no problems like this! If you use a higher flow rate in the first place then you don't need to rinse the hell out of anything. You will use more water by cutting back the flow rate as you will need to rinse longer.

I meet quite a few when I am cleaning them in the rain ;)
if your on a building site you are going to get hassle, if you are new to wfp then this IMO is the reason (you are not cleaning/rinsing enough), I have never had this problem myself, wash/scrub everything alot and use alot of water when rinsing.

Also sometimes the window might look like there are particles of dirt on it when wet but then dry fine!

Same here and BTW I use WFP on a lot of the sparkle build cleans I use a high flow rate and have no problems.

Cleaned my own windows today, WFP.
My two most-looked-through windows have 2 openers above one large pane.
I can get the bottom pane spotless - if I wait for the openers to dry first.
However, whenever I haven't got the time to wait for them to dry, and I just 'crack on', I invariably get a line of spots down the middle of the large pane - from where the 2 openers adjoin one another.
It's a ****** pain!
What do you do if you haven't got time to wait?

Make sure the upper frame is rinsing clear. if you do that you should avoid the spotting use a good flow rate and rinse till water runs clean then some avoiding top frame. Otherwise just go over the glass again although thats no use if you ain't got the time!

The dust on the windows will be from after you cleaned them. I'm suprised everyone with wfp haven't encountered this. I get this on some windows (only the side facing the direction of the wind) when it is a dry day with a good breeze. As someone said, it is from dust blowing onto and sticking to the windows when wet. There isn't much that can be done about this, i don't think.
I find now i'm wfp i lose more days to wind than i do to rain, cos i know depending on the area that i am gonna get problems like this. Although i do them anyway if it is windy the following day.

lots of off topic replies deleted, this is not a general thread about ladders or whether or not you should be WFP.

You would have the same problem or worse with trad methods, so can't understand why one neighbour is not happy or does she want you to stand there for ever more cleaning the dust off as it lands ;D

If you are new to WFP you probably need to slow down and treat all cleans as first cleans until you are confident with your system......by the way don't mention "hosepipe" ban even in jest....you don't know what you may have started ;D ;D ;D
