Hi all,
Im just setting up my RO system and doin the standard 2 hr flush out before i connect it to my DI filter. Water is coming out of the outlet part which has nothing connected to it. There is nothing coming out of the blue produced water hose. It says on the provided instructions to connect the blue hose to the DI filter after 2 hrs of flushing and then the water will flow into my water tank from my DI filter.
Will the water stop flowing through the outlet pipe and start flowing through the blue pipe into the DI filter after 2hrs or am i not doing something correct?
Many thanks for any help given as im totally lost.
Thanks again.
Dean.

isn't there a flow switch that you turn to increase the pressure so that its goes through, at pressure into the membrane?

It says to keep the flow switch set to the non flow position. Its attached to the black waste pipe

When you say outlet pipe what do you mean?
I have a Purefreedom 300 GPD RO and it has the waste .. the black pipe and the product water... the blue pipe. Ur right. The black tap lever should be in the non flow position to make water. U set it to the flow to flush it.

It appears that ive got a faulty system.
The outlet oppo the inlet is snapped and fastened to nothing and there is a pipe at the top of the horizontal filter which it is obvious that it has snapped from >:( >:( >:(
